Deep man...
When I was playing gray I interpreted it as this:
Everyone has their own opinions (starting with white), but when someone feels their's is stronger than others (black), they will do whatever they can to persuade them.
But, the same person could just as easily have their opinions changed back again when its too late and everyone has seen it the black way. Then, they will press even harder to dissuade others from the new black opinion. The black supporters will provide equally as strong arguement as you gave them before, but ultimately see it your way having the same realization you did about white's superiority.
Alas now that everyone sees it the white way, you realize once again that black was better. The same sequnce is repeated only now you support black. the White supporters give an even stronger arguement, almost frustrated that you have changed your mind again. after everyone is changed, you have another epiphany.
As you change your mind over and over again the opinions get stonger and more difficult to change. Eventually your opinions doesn't matter. Any reasoning you try to present will fail to change anyone's mind. Why should they believe you? You just tried to change their opinions so many times, they don't care anymore. Everyone has their own opinions, only now blown way out of proportion from thinking about it so much. They are sprinting in the direction they support with no regard of others' opinions because their oppinions are "obviously correct". Meanwhile you are but a ghost, your life exausted trying to change the way people think. You are ignored, you are nothing. You are gray.
